His press conference where he defended choosing Moore over Scally was classic Berhalter misdirection. He said he chose Moore because he went with "experience". Experience, really? That can't be experience with their club teams because Scally would be a hands down winner. So it must be based on experience with the national team. Yes, Moore has more call ups… because Berhalter called him. It's just a self-fulfilling prophecy – nevermind that Berhalter actually dropped Moore because he PLAYED SO POORLY.
